About
Juan A. Espino, Photographer Member of the Los Angeles Center of Photography Thank you for your interest in my portfolio. I have a passion for photography and take every opportunity to practice the craft and further my knowledge of it. As a photographer, I strive to consistently produce the most beautiful photographs possible for my family, friends and project collaborators in the hopes that my photographs will be among their most cherished possessions to be passed on from one generation to another. The core of my formal education in photography includes taking courses in Black and White Photography and Photojournalism at Los Angeles Community College and workshops in Basic Lighting, Fundamentals of Posing and Portrait Photography at California Center for Digital Arts. I have supplemented my education by reading books such as the Wiley's Photo Workshop series, Michael Freeman's Photo School series, and Roberto Valenzuela's Picture Perfect series. I have applied what I have learned by working on projects with actors, models, and other photographers and by teaching the basics of manual shooting, lighting, and composition to aspiring photographers.
